In this post, I'm going to teach you how to make $100 of passive income a day — the lazy way. Ever since the pandemic hit, learning online has been normalized. The e-learning market has surged by over 50% in the first year! What's even crazier is that in 2026, the e-market will be valued at 450 billion dollars! 

So, what does that mean for people like you and me? Well, if you can put your teacher hat on and teach something of value, you could make great money! You could teach something hard like math or something you're passionate about like yoga! People want to learn online in the comfort of their homes. You just have to teach! 

My First Side Hustle

I have been making money online for 8 years now. I first got started by teaching people how to dance online. Here's a clip of my first video (it's a little embarrassing)… 

This one little action I took years ago is the reason why I make over 7 figures online today. As they say, the internet lives forever. Someday I will pass away but my dancing videos will still be on the internet; people will still be learning to do the wave from me long after I’m gone. 

Where to Host Content

There are various platforms to host your classes on. YouTube is usually the first platform to come to mind and can be a great place to start. That being said, there are now online learning marketplaces made for learning and teaching. These marketplaces, like Udemy, usually have a much higher payout in the beginning. You don't need followers, clout, or connections to succeed on these platforms.

Udemy

Udemy is a marketplace that has course content about pretty much anything. You want to learn how to be a psychic? There’s a course for it. Speak Spanish? There’s a course for it. Learn affiliate marketing? You guessed it — there’s a course for it.

I love Udemy because it comes with a great analytical research tool. You can type in any niche you're thinking of and Udemy will give you its data behind it. The tool will tell you the average class price point and how competitive the niche is. 

Note that you do not have to be the best at whatever it is you want to teach. You do not have to be the top dog! You just have to be relatable. I am not the best YouTuber, affiliate marketer, or dancer. However, my classes did better than the pros in the industry. They saw me, a nerdy kid from Iowa, and feel comfortable learning from me. 

If you get in your head about not being the top in the industry, you will struggle with imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is feeling as though you aren't qualified to teach something and have no right to enter the space. That being said, not everybody wants to learn from a stuffy PhD. They want to learn from someone relatable!

Step-by-Step Action Plan

To conclude, here is a step-by-step action plan that could change your life! 

I challenge you to make ONE class… 

• every single week
• that is 30 minutes long
• on the subject of your choice
• while keeping the subject broad

Once you have your class made, duplicate it over to another market like Skillshare or YouTube. If you do this for one year, that's 52 classes, I can promise you will make a sizeable income of one to five thousand dollars a month.
