I've made over 6 figures from a software called ClickFunnels and in this post, you will learn if you can do it too.  

When I first saw a ClickFunnels ad many years ago, I will admit, it got me.  It was an ad for a book called Dotcom Secrets by Russel Brunson.  I bought it, I read it, and I enjoyed it.  I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying his other book, and his other book, and his other book.  I was learning a lot so I deem it as money well spent. 

However, as you explore this “business stuff” in more depth, you'll start to be bombarded with ads for all sorts of resources that could be useful to you — key word could.  Who do you know who to trust?  Who is honest?  Who is there to actually help you and who is just there to take your money?  

When I started ClickFunnels, I had to answer these questions for myself.  I flew out to an event they hosted called Funnel Hacking Live to get the scoop.  What was crazy about this event was that all the people I was seeing ads from were there!  It was the hot spot where all the influencers I knew and loved met up.  

What is ClickFunnels?

ClickFunnels is a company that makes a software to assist people in creating landing pages for a website.  These landing pages, so they say, convert at a very high rate.  Because I'm both a user and affiliate for ClickFunnels, I can vet that this is true.  

To make sure you don't get confused, yes, you can use ClickFunnels to bring life to your own website but that is not what we are talking about today.  Instead, we are talking about promoting ClickFunnels by being an affiliate for them.  

How Does ClickFunnels Work?

From an affiliate standpoint, ClickFunnels is very similar to any other product you would see via affiliate marketing.  

When marketing ClickFunnels, the easiest customers are those with crappy websites.  A website should not simply be a brochure style page that lays out information.  Instead, it should be converting!  A website should be a 24/7 salesman that drives in sales, fans, and hopefully lifetime customers.  What business wouldn't want to grow through the power of the internet? 

The Pitch

Part of affiliate marketing is having the means to sell!  When pitching ClickFunnels to a possible business, mention something along the lines of… 

“ClickFunnels is the tool you need to turn your website visitors into website customers and it is guaranteed to do it better than the average website.”

My Numbers 

I have made over $120,000 from promoting click funnels as an affiliate.  At one time, I had over 100 accounts signed up under me!  

Now, the question is how do you get 100 accounts?  How do you get even one account?  This is where you have to put yourself into perspective.  If you are thinking of pursuing ClickFunnels, what does that look like for you in terms of your workload, day to day activities, etc.?

I have two tips for you….

First, although there are a ton of entrepreneurs out there who could really benefit from ClickFunnels, I advise you to not market to them.  They are usually ballin’ on a budget and do not have the means for extra expenses.  

That being said, places like mom and pop shops and local established businesses would be great candidates for you to market to.  If they have lasted as a company for 5+ years, they most likely have the extra money to spend on supplemental expenses like a website.  

The Strategy

At the time I’m writing this post, I’m currently staying at a campground in my van.  The website I used to book our site was absolutely horrible!  If it would have been optimized or have offered me a bonus package sort of deal, I probably would have bought in and ended up spending more money.  But it didn't.  No shame on this campground — this is how most business websites operate.  All they need is a proper funnel.  

If you want to promote ClickFunnel and deliver a value-packed deal that's risk free, how do you do it?   Well, it's as simple as creating the entire marketing for the business and presenting it to them.  

Tell the business that you will build them a complimentary funnel for them.  Companies usually spend thousands of dollars on their websites so this will sound amazing to them!  From here, mention that all they have to do is sign up through ClickFunnels via the link you provide for them.  

ClickFunnels account packages range anywhere from $97 to $300 a month and their commission is for life.  This means that you'll be making a chunk of change off of each account you sign up under your name every month for as long as the business you created a funnel for decides to keep using it.  

After a business sees how much you can help improve their website, they are going to want more from you!  They are going to ask what else you can do.  Maybe you could help them create Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube ads.  Maybe you could show them how to optimize their website for leads.  Maybe you could become a blogger for them!  The possibilities are endless.  

This might sound like a lot of work — and it is.  But… two things:

1. Focus on landing a working relationship with a business
2. Like I said, ClickFunnels offers lifetime commissions that are recurring.  Residual income is the best income! 

I have not actively promoted ClickFunnels in over 2 years and I’m still making $2,300 a month.  That ain’t no joke.  

The Cons of ClickFunnels

If you are going to promote ClickFunnels, you are automatically in the business niche.  This means that you are going to be talking to small businesses, learning about marketing and internet traffic, etc.  It's a whole big learning curve if you're someone who's just starting out.  

The business niche is awesome!  It can be competitive but if you focus on the local market, I know you will find success; local businesses usually need the most help.  

I hope you weren't expecting some “scale to the moon” strategy.  ClickFunnels is all about phone calls, trading emails, and making connections.  It's truly empowering to think about how much extra cash you could help your local businesses make!
